PATIENT CENTER: Continuing Care

While we recommend routine cleanings and preventative exams every six months, it’s important to practice good dental practices daily.

One of the best ways to prevent tooth decay and gum disease at home is to build healthy dental habits. Brush at least twice a day for two minutes with a soft-bristled brush with toothpaste containing fluoride. Flossing once a day is also an important step in maintaining a healthy smile.

Before you leave each visit with us, schedule your next appointment. By combining healthy habits with routine check-ups, many problems can be caught early—avoiding tooth loss and the need for more involved procedures or surgery.
