Dr. Bobby Grossi
Dr. Grossi was born and raised in Flint, Michigan and graduated from Powers Catholic High School in 1991. He received his associate degree from Mott Community College, and graduated from University of Michigan with a bachelor’s degree in Science and Biology in 1998. He attended the University of Detroit Mercy Dental School and graduated in 2003 with his doctorate in Dental Surgery. In 2013, he completed a two year orthodontic training program with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars, where he graduated with highest honors.
Dr. Grossi has a beautiful wife and three children. His goal is to change or influence every person he comes into contact with in a positive way. He feels morally obligated not only to change people’s smiles, but to improve their overall health.
He is deeply committed to giving back to the community, and coaches many youth sports teams. Each year around the holiday season, he adopts a family—providing dental care for a year, plus dinner and gifts.
Additionally, Dr. Grossi is an active member of The Grand Blanc Chamber of Commerce. He has received several Community Service Awards along with being voted America’s Top Dentist in 2009 by the Consumers Research Council of America.
Dr. Christopher Dyki
Dr. Dyki enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1991 and was honorably discharged in 1994. He graduated from Central Michigan University in 1997 with a B.S. in Biology. In 2002, he graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy. Following dental school, Dr. Dyki lived and worked in Sebewaing, Michigan where he was Rotary Club president and an active member of the community. Dr. Dyki also served as a Captain in the Michigan National Guard from 2000 to 2004.
Dr. Albert Wesley
Albert J. Wesley, DDS completed his undergraduate studies in 1982 and received his dental degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1987. He went on to become certified in Prosthodontics at Indiana University in 1990. Today, he has over 23 years experience in the dental field. He specializes in implant dentistry, full mouth reconstruction, treatment planning, comprehensive cases and teaching others throughout the United States in the dental field. Dr. Wesley lives in Oakland Township with his wife, Chris, and their three children.
Shandelle comes to Gateway with over eight years of experience in the dental field. In 2012, she graduated from Mott Community College with a degree in Dental Hygiene. Initially, she was attracted to the field because she wanted to help create beautiful, healthy smiles. Every day, she helps her patients understand the benefits of complete oral care to their overall health.
When not working, Shandelle loves spending time with her husband, Guy, and her children Gabrielle and Eliot.
In the dentistry field since 1985, Bibi is experienced in general, orthodontic and cosmetic practices and has been working with our patients since 2013.
In her spare time, she sings in a community chorus with 5 of her family members and enjoys gardening and yoga. Although Bibi was raised in a family of 14 siblings, she has only one daughter who currently studies at Eastern Michigan University.
Carl brings nearly 30 years of experience as a certified dental technician to Gateway. Over his career, he’s worked in dental implant sales and technical education. Today, Carl can often be found in our in-house lab located on the east side of our practice. Here, he fabricates all our customized dental appliances, striving to produce the best quality products to improve your smile.
Christine has been a registered dental assistant for 8 years, all of which have been at Gateway. She and her husband, Matt, have two children—Arora, a nursing student at U-M Flint, and Maddie, a student at Clio High School. They also have a 7-year-old dog and a kitten. A large part of their life is spent together outdoors: gardening, going up north and spending time on the Ausable River.
Emily graduated college as a registered dental hygienist and has been at Gateway since December 2015. She enjoys being able to give her patients confidence with a great clean smile, while making them feel at home. In her spare time, she enjoys being out in the sun, spending quality time with her husband and traveling.
Sandy started her dental career 40 years ago as a dental assistant. She’s been married to her husband, Bob, for 30 years and have raised two children together. Their son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren live in California while their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren live in Kalamazoo. She enjoys camping, scrapbooking and get-togethers with her family.
Rachel grew up in the dental field and is a recent grad from Mott Community College, class of 2016 Dental Hygiene program. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and is dedicated to her profession, but more importantly to her patients. When not at Gateway, Rachel enjoys playing fantasy football and spending time with her family.
Sheila has been a dental assistant for 25 years. She has been happily married for 24 years and is the proud mother of four children and a dog named Symba.
Andrea graduated in May of 2013 from Mott Community College of Flint and has been at Gateway since April of 2014. She is an animal lover of all sorts and is a proud mom of two dogs and five cats. She loves working with all types of people, especially children and the anxious patient. She is soon to be married with hopes to start a family soon.
For Renee, family is her number one priority. Married for 27 years, she and her spouse have two children, one dog and one fish. Besides spending time with loved ones, she enjoys cars and being outside.
Ashleigh has been with us since 2010 and loves getting to know patients and discovering shared interests and experiences.
Ashleigh is highly-energetic and always on-the-go. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Dusty. She also loves going to the beach, traveling the world, photography, running and cruising in her 2002 Trans Am.
Lisa loves being a dental assistant, is happily married to her best friend, Rodney, and is a proud mother of three. At home, she loves to walk her two dobermans, cook for her family and work in her garden.
Angie is a certified orthodontic assistant with over 17 years of experience. She joined the Gateway team in November of 2012 and strives to make orthodontic visits, fun, carefree and educational. She puts patients at ease every step of the way and gives them an understanding of what’s to come both financially and clinically. She truly enjoys working with Dr. Grossi, her coworkers, and patients. When not creating beautiful smiles, she is a busy mom of two amazing kids, Mya and Easton, and a proud wife of her husband, Lee, a trauma nurse.
New patients are greeted and taken care of by Xadius. With Gateway since 2015, he is completely focused on patient care. In his spare time he likes golfing, fantasy football and cats, and will be getting married this fall.
Linda is the proud mother of two daughters—Kaylee and Cassandra—who are in middle and high school respectively. Linda and her boyfriend love to ride their Harley, and the whole family enjoys their pool and hot tub on both hot and cold nights. They have one cat and will soon be adding a new kitten to their home.
